When upgrading your aircraft to Garmin G600 TXi, there are optional features that you should consider that add redundancy and increased situation awareness beyond what the original equipment can offer.
The Aero Centers G600 TXi installs include:
01
All new instrument panels cut from our 3 axis CNC router and powder coated for durability
02
Removal of factory wiring and existing avionics wiring for considerable weight savings.
03
Three sources for heading input instead of two done by most shops.
04
All G600 components are dual buss feed which means that the AHRS’s, ADC’s, GAD43e and both PFD’s receive power from both Avionics 1 and Avionics 2 buses.
05
Weighing the aircraft after each installation for a new precise weight and balance instead of a calculation. This practice sets Aero Centers apart from the average shop.
06
New vinyl placards on instrument panels and all circuit breaker panels look identical to the placards provided by Pilatus.
07
New laser marked harnesses are installed from front to rear and wing tip to wing tip.
08
Wing noise resolution for installation of magnetometers eliminating heading errors.
09
Flight testing performed by our test pilot to ensure a discrepancy free aircraft prior to delivery.
10
411/413 (IFR Certification) is standard.
11
Jupiter Glove Box with USB A/C charger.
12
Fast/Slow enablement
Trade-in credit and RVSM
Aero Centers offer top dollar for trade-in credit on fully functional equipment removed from the subject aircraft. Please note that there is no RVSM solution for the Pilatus PC-12 with G600 or G600 TXi.
G600TXi Installation options for increased safety
- It's highly recommended to add a second pitot/static system to ensure the air data computers have separate inputs, enhancing safety and redundancy.
- Garmin doesn't allow third-party TAWS-B computers to display on their screens. We recommend enabling the optional TAWS-B for the TXi displays as an alternative to audio only TAWS alerts.
- The Emergency Power Supply remains intact in our process, as we can route power to the #1 GTN750Xi for GPS/Nav and Comm power. Given that the Garmin GI275 Standby has an integrated battery, the #1 GTN750 will provide CDI data via VOR/ILS, en-route GPS, and LPV, even during an emergency.
History of the Legacy PC-12 Garmin G600 and G600 TXi Installations
The Legacy Pilatus PC-12 model aircraft saw its first Garmin G600 system install back in 2013 via an STC owned by Pilatus Aircraft. This first upgrade was only available to Authorized Pilatus Service Centers and the first installation was completed by Epps Aviation which, has been acquired by the Aero Center network and has been rebranded as Aero Center Atlanta.
