Norm brings to the table over 36-years within both the private and public sector fields; highlighting a
strong professional skill set of organizational leadership, staff growth and development, relationship
building, community relations and client services, sound oversight and analysis, and problem solving. His
love of aviation began at the young age of 13 while being taught to fly by his uncle, Lee. From a C-130 to
a C-172 and to a Money 201, Norm flew with his uncle throughout his teenaged years. But Norm’s
interests turned more to Aviation Administration, and he went on to begin his professional career at the
very FBO where his uncle kept his planes achieving the positions of as Airline, Air Freight and General
Aviation Operations Manager.
Norm went on to develop a diverse professional career in both the public and private sectors to include Cable Television, Public Utilities, print publication, Marketing Development and H&S Officer with a Geotechnical Engineering firm, and was honored to be elected to public office as an At-Large County Commissioner of Pinellas County Florida. “I think that you should continually chase your dreams and seek to develop a diverse knowledge base, work experience, and skill set”, said Roche.
Norm Roche recently worked with the City of Tallahassee Utilities in the Customer Operations
Department. “I believe that once aviation gets into your blood stream, it never leaves”, said Roche. “To
be able to come full circle in my career and return to the industry I’ve loved since my childhood, is a
blessing I cannot even describe. I’m proud to be welcomed into the Aero Centers family, and excited to
be part of what’s ‘Growing On’ at Tallahassee International Airport. Once we’re up and running, I hope
you’ll do us the honor of affording us the opportunity to earn your business. You’ll be glad you did.”
