Tallahassee, FL – Aero Centers fixed-base operations (FBOs) network is thrilled to announce the appointment of Robert Buchanan as the General Manager of Aero Center Tallahassee, effective immediately. With a robust background in general aviation and a proven track record of operational excellence, Buchanan is poised to drive customer service and safety at Aero Center Tallahassee.
Aero Centers’ holding company SAR Trilogy Management, LLC (SAR-T) currently has seven FBO locations in its portfolio stretching coast to coast across the US from Spokane, Washington to Lakeland, Florida with plans to expand. The current Aero Centers FBO network includes operations in CPR, GEG, ILM, LAL, PDK, SFF, and TLH.
Aero Center Tallahassee at Tallahassee International Airport (KTLH) features a +7-acre transport category-capable apron. Real Estate also includes 64 T-Hangars with a dedicated T-Hangar Pilot Lounge and four large Box-Hangars ranging from 5,000 to 15,000 square feet. Next year, Aero Center Tallahassee will open a new +15k square foot FBO, complete with a sports charter/ VIP terminal, and 24,000 square foot hangar.
Robert Buchanan started his career as a Customer Service Representative, and was integral to the team that earned a “Top 5% FBO” accolade through the AIN survey within his first year. His journey through the ranks, from managing customer service to overseeing operations, has been marked by significant achievements, including the enhancement of government and hot fuel operations and the introduction of CAA to Tallahassee.

Buchanan’s leadership experience is further enriched by his hands-on involvement in diverse operational roles, including a crucial transition to the line during the COVID-19 pandemic, which provided him with a comprehensive understanding of Aero Center’s operations. His proactive efforts in leadership positions, such as Customer Service Manager and Operations Manager, have significantly contributed to operational improvements and expanded service offerings.
